Katie became a Certified Nurse Midwife after a 12 year career in OB / L & D nursing and childbirth education. She attended Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. She graduated in 1994 and moved back to Florida to be closer to family. She has been actively involved in women’s health care and providing midwifery care for women and their families during childbirth. She promotes wellness through alternative methods, holistic care, diet and exercise. She enjoys working with teens and community education of midwifery care. Her husband is an environmental engineer. Katie has two children and enjoys reading, diving and community service.
