Katie Douglas received her Registered Nursing degree in Cocoa, Florida and after a career of mother/baby care and childbirth education returned to pursue a certificate in Nurse Midwifery at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. Katie promotes wellness through alternative methods and holistic care, diet and exercise. She enjoys working with teens and community education of midwifery care. Her husband is an environmental engineer. Katie has a daughter and son. She enjoys gardening, diving, reading and community service.
